John Eddie Williams Sr.

John Eddie Williams Sr., 82, died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in Austin.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in Baker Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Worth. Burial: Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Arlington. Visitation: 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Williams was born Feb. 13, 1922, in Clarksville. He attended James E. Guinn public school and was a former member of Wayside Church of God in Christ and First Pilgrim Valley Baptist Church of Fort Worth. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Austin.

Survivors: Wife, Willie Bell Williams of Austin; sons, Carl Williams and Pan Sun of Leander, John E. Williams Jr. of Fort Worth and Gregory Williams of Austin; daughter, Wilma Ross and Melvin of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
