Not sure what to say?

I did not know CAPT Williamson during his lifetime, but along with so many others I benefited from his excellent work. His "Williamson Turn" has been taught to Navy ship handlers since he developed it as a technique for depth-charging enemy submarines in WWII. It is used to this day as the quickest and most certain way for a ship to return down the track (path) it just passed through in order to return to pick up a sailor who has gone over the side in the middle of the ocean. To John's family: I worked at CARS Inc. from 1972 until I retired in 1989. John always had a friendly smile and greeting whenever our paths crossed in the hall or Customer Service area where I was an inside account manager for the west coast customers. My years at CARS were enhanced by knowing the man at the top was a man of God.
Blessings to all, Ruth Seadler

As General Manager of SouthBridge, I wanted to forward how much our CARTER staff and the entire building population loved John Williamson. Truly a man of honor and intregrity. He lived 86 productive years but he is now in a place where his energy and productivity will be enjoyed by our Father for eternity. We will miss him but I know he has already made a big splash above. That's just John.

May GOD continue to bless his family.

Maggie, I just wish I could have been there to visit with you and Wendy and your families. I know you understand. However, I will come soon for a visit. Love to you all, Ginny

Many knew him from afar; those who served with him in the military and later those who were priviliged to work with Key Royal stores. We were all inspired and uplifted by his joy, his enthusiasm for life in his chosen field, the pursuit of excellence in automotive retailing and opportunity creation. If Billy Graham had been in the automotive arena, he would have had to look up to John Williamson.
May he rest now.

With deepest sympathy to the family of John Williamson. Tami and I were privileged to have known John and we will truly miss him. His work in support of many charities and his leadership as the Vice Chairman of the National Defense University Foundation is a fitting legacy to a man who loved his family, loved his country and, above all, loved his God. Fair winds and following seas my friend.

Mr. Williamson was truly a gentle man. He served as Vice Chairman on the National Defense University Board of Directors in Washington, D.C.,where I am employed. He was one of a kind -- always thinking of
the big picture and how it would positively affect all concerned. My thoughts and prayers go out to Lex, Wendy, Maggie and their families. Mr. Williamson will not be forgotten soon.

I have never met a more honorable, rightous man who believed in creating oportunities for people in the automotive industry. Mr Williamson will be missed by all who had the pleasure to work with Him and for Him.
