John Wing, Leader of men, an honorable man. I miss his wisdom. Leadership and friendship. May he always rest in peace.

I met John Wing in Cairo, Egypt. He was accompanying Charlie Wilson and I had to arrange their meetings. I had never met anyone like the two of them and I remember the details well. He was driving but also understanding and empathetic. He left enough of an impression on my that I was curious to learn what he might be doing some 18 years later and well, now I know. This is so sad. I was just reading the book 'The smartest guys in the room'.

Just heard this sad news I have driven Kings Queens and presidents and John was their equall A truly nice man. I will remember my time with him and all his family with great pleasure. RIP John Stenning. UK

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. We met just a few weeks ago in Naples but he had left an unforgettable impression on me. What a a brilliant, kind and generous man. The world is definitely at a loss from his passing . God Bless him and hold him in the palm of his hand. Memory Eternal.

My condolences to Brian and Christina and the Wing family for their loss. John was an amazing man and friend. When he walked into a room, his beautiful smile and eyes caught everyone's attention. He made friends easily, helped so many and was so generous. Stories he told about his life, family and friends were told with so much enthusiasm and exuded the passion and love John felt.
