Not sure what to say?

Mary,
I only just recently learned of John's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. My childhood and especially my teenage years include so many great memories of John and your family living next door to us on Fremont. My prayers are with you and David.

SHE HAS MANY MEMORIES OF JOHNNY AND THE KIDS FROM THE OLD NEIGHBORHOOD. I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH GLORIA AND BOBBIE SUE AND THEY SEND THEIR SYMPATHY ALSO TO YOUR FAMILY. MY PARENTS WERE DAVID...

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I will always remember John for his quick wit and wisdom. Yes, his last name was very appropriate. My love and sympathies to Mary and all of the loved ones he left behind.

It saddened me to read of Johns passing. I didn't know John very well but my son Tim and grandson Tim always spoke very highly of him. David, you and Tim and your dad had some great times together. Those times have created great memories for you. You and your mom take care and may God Bless you both.

Our sincerest condolences in everyone's loss of a great man. You have both been wonderful neighbors, and John a quickly made dear friend. We all mourn and share in your loss.

I am very sorry about John. He was one of the best friends I ever had. I left KC 35 years ago for employment purposes but still think about John and Mary often. I did not know he was ill. He will live on in my heart and mind. Bob Friedman

Mary and David, we are terribly sorry to hear of John's passing. I regret that I won't be able to attend the services due to a medical conflict. Our prayers and thoughts are with you in this time of need. Harley and Gloria
