A great friend. Just found about his passing. I was in his pilot training class , watershed with him and flew B 52s with him. Been trying to find him for years. RIP john

He was one of the best pilots I had ever flown with. We had a load of laughs and lots of great times together.

All around great guy, you are missed my friend.

There was never a soul more willing to face adversity and hardship with a bigger smile or a more caring heart than you, John.

We went back a long way...back to Elementary School, Jr. High and High School! He always had a great smile and will be missed! My condolences to John's family on his passing!

John, all who flew with you will never forget.

So sad to hear. I was thinking about John recently, hoping he would attend a reunion again. I remember his crazy shot at the bar in Tucson, when the club thought they had contained all the destruction to the “poly-bar.” And who could forget the tapeworm he would bring to the early Raven Reunions. The world is a lesser place. God keep you, John, and bless your family.

Dear Family and Friends of John, I first met John in second grade at Elmwood Elementary School and went all through grade school, junior high, and high school with him. It has been 51 years since I have seen John, but remember him fondly. When helping with our 50th class reunion I spoke with John on the phone and reminisced about our school days. He was planning on attending the reunion, but unfortunately at the end was not able to. John will be remembered by many of his Class of '62...
