Not sure what to say?

I learned how to care for deer in hot weather from one of Mr Wooters´ articles , he wrote about 50 years ago. I started using his method 12 years ago. A great sportsman. RIP

One of my most favorite authors and the first guy I ever knew that talked trophy bucks. I still have his first book from the 1970's about "Hunting Trophy Deer". He and Jack Connor will always be special to me! R.I.P.

So sorry to hear that John passed away. If there is anything I can do, please let me know. Your cousin, Gerry Hodges Hackley

Dear Jeannie, My heart goes out to you.

Condolences to the family from Fran Burton Presley, Texarkana, Texas. (I grew up in Crockett.)

Unfortunately, although we were "neighbors" just across Johnson Creek in Ingram, I only got to know John through his weekly columns in the West Kerr Current! And Through his writings, I knew I had missed a lot! But was really fortunate to have had the opportunity of knowing of John Wooters and his outstanding contributions to the outdoors and his fellowman! Prayers and best wishes are with his Family. God Bless. Paul Pitts, Ingram

John was one of the best shooting and outdoor writers ever. Love his camo hat. God bless you sir. JRD

So long my friend. See you across the River.
