JOHN A. YETSKO MERRILLVILLE, IN John A. Yetsko, age 86, of Merrillville, IN, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Methodist Hospital Southlake Campus. John is survived by 2 sons: John (Phyllis) Yetsko of Denver, CO and David (Monette) Yetsko of Chesterton, IN; 6 grandchildren: Eric, Alex, Katie, Laura, Vincent, and Samuel; 5 brothers: Paul (Joanne) Yetsko, George (Marge) Yetsko both of Hobart, IN, Charles Yetsko of Griffith, IN, Steven (Joanne) Yetsko of Arizona, and Joseph Yetsko of Merrillville, IN; special friend: Joanne Churilla; sister in law: Elaine Yetsko of Hobart, IN; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son: Dr. Richard A. Yetsko; grandson: Gregory Yetsko; brother: Sam Yetsko; sister: Ann Tasche. John was a retired Payroll Clerk at U.S. Steel Gary Works and after retirement worked for Bryan's Florist. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, and traveling. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Geisen Funeral Home, 7905 Broadway, Merrillville, IN, with Rev. Joseph E. Vamos officiating. Interment will be private.
