John Carl YLVISAKER

I first met John at a Worship and Music Conference I attended at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. I loved his music and bought a tape of his songs. I would play the tape at night while my boys fell asleep. In the 80's one of our boys had surgery at Children's Hospital in MN. He requested that the doctor play John's "A Promise is a Promise" as he fell asleep for surgery. I treasure that memory. His songs are beautiful and full of meaning.
