John and Gail, I.m so sorry I found out after the service about Uncle Mal. Your parents are such a big part of my childhood years and memories. I remember Uncle Mal letting us slide down a shoot thing at Ackerman in a box. What fun that was,and the scarey stories He'd tell in your living room. Uncle Mal gave me a priceless gift that I could give to my Dad on the day of my wedding...photos of my Grandpa (Mal's brother Jim). What a kind soul and I'm sure that he's touched many a person with his kindness. Our prayers are with him and his family.

John was a wonderful person to take care of the short time that we did. The caregivers enjoyed working with him.
We are with you in your time of sorrow.

I saw my first blue racer snake in the woods behind your house. Our fishing trips to Cranberry Lake and perch fishing on the Grand Haven piers became life long memories for me. Uncle Mal was always an inspiration to everyone who knew him. Aunt Harriet was a loving woman who enjoyed gardening and Cay was a perfect woman for him.
John and Gail, you were a couple lucky kids to have had them as parents.
