I will truly miss the friendship, laughter of comedic times in our lives, the serious conversations about ministry and always our times of prayer. I had the privilege of meeting Pastor York through my former Pastor, Dr. Ramona Joseph. Pastor York and I both received our honorary doctorate degrees together from St. Michael's Insitute where Dr. Joseph was one of the professors.
Dr. Joseph initially introduced me to Pastor York after I had a really bad experience with a contractor. Basically, he left my bathroom in shambles and ran off with the money.

Rev. John York has been our landlord for the past fifteen (15) years, a friend of the family, an upright man of God and a pillar in the community! He was definitely one of the good ones and will be missed immensely, but, his memories will be forever cherished.
