Not sure what to say?

John Yothers was a wonderful man who not only taught us about art and artists but really how to appreciate it. I had the privilege to attend some of his shows at W&J and see his art at the Century Inn. He did a portrait of my sister and I and we will forever cherish it. His enthusiasm for his work was infectious and carried over to his students. He was so much fun he was also our high school ski club sponsor and taught most us how to ski for the the first time. He is dearly missed!!

Godspeed to a great art teacher.

We never knew what we had in him. His easy going nature and laid back personality made him one of the best. He inspired me and now I get to use his influence to inspire others. I really miss him.

Best art teacher. Ever.

Mr. Yothers was one of the most influential teachers and the best art teacher I had. He was very supportive of us "art kids" in school...I can't imagine having survived high school without him and the art room. Godspeed to a talented and special man.

Farewell to a wonderful artist and teacher.

Jake was such an amazing teacher of so many things. All of the students who had him at Burgettstown learned more than just art from him. He could always be counted on to treat you more than just a student. To his family - you have my sympathy. Nanci Visnich Foster
