Not sure what to say?

I've known John since he was in Blacker House at Caltech and drove back to New York with him. Great traveling companion and a good guy.

He was one of the loveliest, most kind and generous men and it was a pleasure to have been the board of the Royal Oak Foundation with him. I work for Westminster Abbey and a candle will be lit for him today.

As a childhood friend and neighbor, John was always recognized by us as being brilliant, capable, and modest. Always at the top of our class, he represented us outstandingly at that time and in all the years that followed. EVE EVERETT FISH (NCHS '52)

Mary, I am so sorry to hear about John's passing; however, I am glad he was able to enjoy art at the Met until the very end! His love for art and music was always evident. Peace to you and your family, and John's professional caregivers. Sincerely, Christena Gunther

Arts & Minds sends deepest condolences to the Young family and also to John's "team" - Denise, Lucy and Joel. We are inspired by your caring spirit.

Deepest condolences to the Young family from The Royal Oak Foundation. We are grateful for John's service as Treasurer and Chairman and his commitment to preservation and conservation.
