Rev. John Young

Fr. John Young was a inspiration to all of us at Upjohns He carried his cross well. I would have loved to hear one of his homily's. He will be missed and I would to extend my condolences to the family

To know that Father John is at peace is so comforting. Father John {FJ} spent many fun Birthday parties at our home. He was a part of our little family for several years.. And we'd like to think that he was as much consoling as he was consoled by his "German war bride" {Pete's mom}. There are so many fond memories of a wonderful and pious man. Our sympathies to all the family.

A life long friend to me and my family, helped me through hard times, I thank God he was in my life.

My sincere condolences to John's family. May the God of peace and comfort be with the family during this most difficult time.

Fr. John was my favorite priest! I knew him while at St. Monica's and treasured his knowledge and down to earth spirituality. I'm certain he is resting in God's peaceful kingdom.

Fr. Young taught Religion classes at St. Augustine while I was one of his students. 1961.
RIP!

Fr. John considered us (class of '62 at St. A) as his all time favorite. I had visited him several times before he was transferred to the nursing part and despite not remembering me he sure remembered a lot of my classmates. Your time was well served, Fr. John. It is your time to rest.

Fr. Young was both a wonderful man and priest. A kind and gentle soul who devoted his life to God as an honorable and holy priest.
