Eighteen years ago you presented an opportunity to me to fulfill my dream of working in professional baseball. I'll be forever grateful to you for believing in me. I was very fortunate to learn from a true baseball man various aspects of scouting that I still carry with me today. I truly miss the times together at games laughing, trying my best to win an occasional argument, and just talking baseball with you. You will be missed. You were one of a kind.

To my Great-Uncle, who raised my Dad, Bowman Hood McLaughlin to love and respect baseball. You will always be remembered for the love of the game of baseball!! May you have many home-runs in the heavens above. God Bless.
