Barb and family,

There are no words to express how sorry we are for your loss. My father-in-law Peter Sivaslian who passed away suddenly in 2012 went to school with John.

I have a beautiful picture of you and John from one of the Times Union Christmas parties. I must say Barb, you were the best boss I ever had! I still have the two blankets that you knitted for me, my heart breaks for you and your family.

So shocked, saddened and brokenhearted to hear of John's passing. So many young family memories growing up with his parents and mine with all the many great parties we shared together. A wonderful person like John is such a rare gift in life and will never be forgotten. Our heartfelt sympathy and love to Barb, Lori, Donna, Michael and families.

What is a good friend? A good friend is someone you would trust with your life . . . but more than that--with the lives of your family.
