Not sure what to say?

John was a good friend back when we were young and "cool". Through life's inevitable winding path we lost touch. But I often thought of him, our interesting discourse on the state of the world, and his amazing Afro . He'll live in my heart that way. See you on the other side, bro. My best to his family.

* also I promise to take great care of the beautiful Red Prince Weigela that you planted years ago. It´s my favorite.

I wish you had made a visit to Thailand, You will be remembered by many John, Rest in Peace.

John used to stop at my cafe (Cow Town) on his way to work. My former husband Jeff and I would sit down with him and drink a cup of coffee together almost every day. We had great conversations and he became a good friend with my husband. For the longest time we didn't remember his name from our initial introduction. We would call him the Italian guy. Later we told him that and he was surprised we went so long and called him Italian guy. John will be missed.

John was a good neighbor and friend. He was always ready to help and had an excellent sense of humor. A great loss.

Every year when I was a kid JZ would help me build my soapbox derby car and design it however I wanted- one year we did flames, another year we did a killer mermaid car. I´ll always remember his generosity with his time and his dedication to good craftsmanship, and the way he treated me like a tiny grownup collaborator. Rest easy John
