I have fond memories of serving with John Zavala on the Worship Team at LCM years ago. He was full of life and full of creative ideas. I know he's in the presence of a great cloud of witnesses -even at this very moment- and I know he's worshiping the Father...Hallelujah!! Blessings and comfort to the entire family. May you rest in peace Mr.John, this a a big loss to Life Changing Ministries. I will miss you worshiping God with your intrument and how you honor the Greek culture. I know you're in a better place with the heavenly choir playing your instrument. Your legacy lives on in the lives of the people you touched with your kindness.
We will see you again at the feet of the Lord

I could always look forward to going to work when John was the Station Captain. He was a great mentor with special teaching skills. Each shift included training. He was an great and fair Captain and Chief. It was a pleasure to serve with him on the Board of the Retired Public Employees Association in San Bernardino. And I'll always remember the New Years Eve, years ago, when my wife and I saw him join the entertainment on stage to play his saxophone.
