Not sure what to say?

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace and may they pray for our continued efforts to advance God's Kingdom on Earth.

We are thankful we got to see Johnny at the 50th High School reunion.

Cheryl and family,

We are so fortunate to have spent many precious years with you and John. And know that his spirit continues to shine all around. What a spiritual and faithful man. What a beautiful family that has been blessed with his love. His grandchildren will carry his message on.

We love you and wish we could be with you. God Bless you and the family.

Dear Cheryl, Sandra and I are so
sorry for your loss. John was one
of a kind. He had so many friends
because he was that kind of a guy.
He will be missed tremendously.
I have great memories of him at
St. Gregory's.
We love you and wish you and your
family the best, our prayers go out
to you.

I was very sorry to hear of Mr. Zehrung's passing. I can't call him "John" because he was always "Mr. Zehrung" to me since I can remember. I remember going to Baskin Robbins and getting the occassional bit of free ice cream from him many years ago. As best as I can recall, I remember going with him, Chris, and the rest of the family to a Blazer's hockey game (the first of my life) and being taken roller-skating (also for the first time). I spent a great deal of time with all of you and...

Hi Cheryl and kids,
This is my third entry because I've somehow managed to erase the first two.

I don't know if God broke the mold when He made John because He thought one person like him was enough or if He thought He could never make another one as good as John. Whichever way it was, John was certainly one of a kind.

I wanted to share some of my favorite memories of John with you. For me, the most special memory of John was when Luke was born. He sent a very...

My wife and I were married in 1966 and John and I met each other prior to that when we both worked together. We played softball together on the company team and many rounds of golf. Prior to getting married John on several occasions would end up Friday night parked in front of Lincoln Park golf course and sleep in his car so we could have a very early tee time on Saturday morning, I have never known anyone else that did this. He was good at both softball and at golf and we had much fun. ...

Cheryl,
Just to express my sorrow at your profound loss. I know John was a good man, husband and father and that you will miss him so much. Please take care,
Martha
