Ms.Zerial and family,
I met John in 1989, as a rookie for Breeders-Greeters Committee with the HLSR. I had a committee meeting at a restaurant off I-10, I was very nervous and scared but I met John and some of the committee members and they took me under there wings and made me feel that I was special. I resigned in 1997 due to family matters but I have remained with the HLSR-Washington County Go Texan and since then became a Lifetime Committee member. I will treasure all the memories...

I will always have a very special place in my heart for John. He was a rock to me when I was widowed at 26. He was in charge of the funeral arrangements and too great care to be sure I made it through the whole ordeal as easily as possible. We e had so many good times together over the last 56 years. My love and regards to Jeaneane, Mark and Matt. God speed John.
