Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Zilly family. Jack and I worked together at URI some many years ago; he as football coach and myself in the Admissions Office. We met once a week to decide who of his recruits would be admitted. From our first meeting I knew he was someone special and that is how I shall always remember him. A man of good humor, high ethics, always a gentleman, of hero material. Knowing his was a life well lived should bring comfort to his beloved family.

Dear Peggy, I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He was a great man who had a full and wonderful life, as did his son Michael, who's passing I had just recently been informed of. I remember your dad getting Mr Joss to let me out detention so that he could drive me me to an important game we had against S .K. Some years back, I happened by chance to meet him in a parking lot. To the Zilly children, I wish to express my deepest sympathy. I never knew your Dad personally, but I was a friend of Mike's when we were students at Lenoir Rhyne College. I am also saddened to read that Mike is no longer with us. Mike used to talk of his father as his hero. I will never forget him. If any of you would care to, please drop me a card as I would appreciate communicating further. God bess you all during this difficult time. "John Roney, P. O. Box 53, Fairplay, MD 21733"

Pat and Lynn,
I'm so sorry to hear that your Dad has passed away. I didn't know until late yesterday or I surely would have paid my respects to you and your family. Please accept my condolences and extend them to Ryan and Kelly and the rest of your family.
My thoughts are with you all.
