Born in Providence, RI, on October 6, 1950, Jack graduated from Warwick Veterans Memorial High School in 1968 and attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), graduating in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Jack met his wife, Lesley E. (Small) Zorabedian, at WPI in 1969, where she was one of the first two women to attend the university. Jack was active in Reading civic affairs, serving as a Town Meeting member and running for office as a member of the School Committee. He served on the Reading Public Library Building Committee as Treasurer, and he was a member and chairman of the Town Planning Board. He was an active participant in youth sports through his four children, coaching and officiating. He retired from GE Healthcare, in Westborough, MA, on May 1, 2019.

Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. I knew Jack at WPI. We did not spend much time together as I am 2 years younger (class of 74), but the few times we did talk were always enjoyable and as such the memory of Jack has stuck with me all these years. I am fortunate to have known him.

This book of memories is to serve as a record of the services you entrusted to us. We hope it will help to preserve treasured memories and that we, in some small measure, have helped to ease your burden and bring you comfort.
