Not sure what to say?

He was one of the best teachers I ever had. I will always remember 6th grade at Southwest School and Mr. Z sat in front of the class and lit a cigarette. Blew the smoke into a tissue and showed us the brown tar. I am here to say that obviously stayed with me all this time and I have never been a smoker. I will always thank him for that.

Diane I just learned about John. Although I never met him, he sounds like a wonderful person . It has been three years now since I lost my John and I think of him every day. I think we are both very fortunate to have such lasting memories.

Diane, Our condolences to you and your family on John´s passing. I really enjoyed teaching with him at Southwest school. He truly was a character and a great guy.

Deepest condolences to Mrs. Zukowski and family. A wonderful man who made a lasting impact on so many.

I loved Mr Z as my Science teacher. He made learning so interesting and fun. I do have many great memories. You are a beautiful couple and family. Rest In Paradise John !!!

John was absolutely a "one of a kind", genuine human being, who was full of fun, kindness, love and surprises. The obituary describes him to a "tea" ! He will be greatly missed and remembered. Whenever I think of life in Black Point, I always think of our neighbor and friend John "JD" and smile. May he Rest In Peace. My deepest condolences. Nancy

An incredible teacher and man. He would come in to my bar and have dinner and drinks with Mrs. Z from time to time. Always smiling and so incredibly kind. He even told me that he used to be a butcher alongside my uncle and my son´s grandfather back in the day! My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I want to extend my sympathies to his wife and family. Mr Z was such a memorable teacher to me! He made learning science so much fun! I was seated next to the cow skeleton! I had the privilege of learning from one of the best May he Rest In Peace

My deepest sympathies to his family and friends. One of my favorite teachers... RIP
