I had the privilege of serving with LCpl Kirk in Iraq with 2 CEB. It’s going on 5 years and I still think about him and LCpl Peterson every day. They will never be forgotten.

Kirk was a true warrior, friend, and brother. He was a member of the "Rock Snipers" with Lcpl Peterson being the other member; lerking in the dark and picking off their targets unexpectadly. Kirk was always dependable to be there to help you out with anything you needed. He was as strong as an ox on the outside and inside. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about him and Peterson. God bless The Rock Snipers you will be forever missed!
