Not sure what to say?

Mr Prestwood was a customer of ours and it made my day to see this fine man. I made him a cup of coffee every time he came in. We visited while the guys worked on his cars. He had a beautiful collection of cars. I have many pictures because I couldn't help myself and had to get a snap. I had the biggest crush on him too. He reminded me so much of a favorite uncle of mine. They looked like they could have been brothers. Watching him and Andrew cut up together made me smile. You could tell...

Our family were fortunate to live across the street from John and Mary in Daharan in Saudi Arabia. We also traveled with them to Kenya. Between the two families we had two 6 year olds, a five year old and 4 year old Kane. It wasn´t easy traveling with 4 young children, and they weren´t angels, but John never lost patience with any of them. He always seem to be enjoying life and loving his family.

Myself ,my mom, Shirley(Mae) and Ms. Rose had the privilege and pleasure to become acquainted with the family while being of service to Mr. Johnney in his last journeys of his illness. We all forged an instant bond that will forever be a staple in our hearts. It was obvious that he loved his family and they loved him. His gentle yet strong presence was a pleasure to behold. He and Mrs Mary Ann has a light so bright for their long happy years of Love and life living I could just listen to her...

Uncle Johnny was like a second dad to my brother and I. He took both of us to many U of H football & basketball games. I remember meeting Louis Dunbar at Hofienze Pavilion and shaking his hand after a basketball game. He towered over me and I thought he was a giant. We went to a Cotton Bowl game on New Year Day and snow was outside the stadium and with all the excitement I don´t recall how cold it was. His car collection was unbelievable and he chauffeured my daughter on her wedding day....

Uncle John introduced me to the cougar family at a young age. He was like a dad to me and We shared priceless cougar games over 40 years ago. He took my brother and I to see the battle of the birds. That game was when Otis birdsong and Larry Bird matched up in the Hofheinz pavilion. I was also blessed by going to the games in the `80´s with the Phi slama jamma with Olajuwon. He loved all UofH sports and we made many freezing cold trips to the cotton bowl in January. He was a great man and...

Mary, Leah and Kane, we have great memories of school and athletics in Calgary. Your dad was always a gentleman in every sense of the word. Mind you those were the years of Fraser Flames and Churchill Bulldogs. It was great to be fans of school and sports. Thinking of you at this time. Gordon and Bev Cumming.

I met and worked with thousands of people while at Chevron, but John was at the top of the list of class people. Truly a great person. Working with him was not work, it was fun.
