Johnnie Henry Andrejczak, 78, of Brenham, died February 10, 2013, at Brenham Rest Home. A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 14 at Calvary Cemetery in Brenham with Father Benedict Zientek officiating. Mr. Andrejczak was born May 20, 1934 in Brenham, to Willie and Mary (Wesneski) Andrejczak. From the age of 16, Mr. Andrejczak worked for Southern Pacific Railroad, closing his career as a bridge and building foreman. Upon retirement, he enjoyed spending time caring for cattle in Mill Creek and working with his tractor on the farm near Prairie Hill. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow and giving them rides on the tractor. Survivors include his wife, Gloria (Herzog) Andrejczak of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Melanie Andrejczak of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Herzog of Brenham, Lisa and Brian Eben of Brenham and Tina and Chris Winkelmann of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Aubrey Andrejczak Brinkmeyer, Deena Eben, Isaac Andrejczak, Mitchell Eben, Will Winkelmann, Alysse Winkelmann, Eric Winkelmann, Jordan Winkelmann, Tomas Winkelmann and Tristan Winkelmann; great-grandchild, Avery Brinkmeyer; and sisters and brother-in-law, Gertrude Bravenec of Houston and Barbara and Wallace Majewski of East Bernard. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Minnie Lee Krotofil; and brothers-in-law, Chester Krotofil and Henry Bravenec. Memorials may be given to Hospice or a charity of your choice.
