Not sure what to say?

What a Great man! I grew up developing a profound respect for Mr. Gray. I could never call him Johnnie because he was one of those you knew was absolutely "the salt of the earth," the person you knew was the epitomy of honesty, sincerity and love. I'll miss this GREATEST GENERATION member so much. I'm honored to have known Mr. Gray and to have had the good fortune to have him as one of my lifelong mentors, teachers, and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Sandy, it is with a sad heart I learn of your father's passing. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family,
So sorry for your loss. I will forever remember the gentle nature of Uncle Jonnie and the faith that he carried in the Lord. He was a testimony and a great example of what a man should be to his family, community and friends. May each of you find strengh in knowing that he is now your personal angel to watch over you! God Bless and though it's been many years since we have been together, there is always a big love for your family.

Johnnie was a great man and an American hero... He was a pillar of strength in the Collinstown/State Line Community. He will be sorely missed by all his family, friends & neighbors. May he rest in peace...

I know you are proud to call Johnnie,Husband,Dad,as I am to call him Uncle.

I will always remember Uncle Johnnie as a hard worker, kind man, with a quick smile. I cannot remember Uncle Johnny ever saying an unkind word about anyone, and I only recall wonderful compliments about him.

Well, Uncle Johnnie has traveled through this life as a kind and giving man. I know he is proud and bursting with love going through the gates of heaven, not only being with the Lord; but...

Mom & Dad, ages 85, 4 Wheeling at the Creek

To my Dear Dad - there was never a man, whom I have known in this lifetime, who has lived out his love for Jesus any more than you. You have served well, good and faithful servant, and have taught so many by example. Thank you for being my Daddy and for loving us so beautifully. We miss you terribly, but look forward to seeing you again. xxx.
