Not sure what to say?

In memory of a truly beautiful woman who gave souch to so many throughout her earthly life. I as a teacher at BUILD Academy from 1968-1973. She was beloved by teachers, teacher aids and students alike. May peaceful eternal rest be granted to her and sincere condolences to her family. in

Mike, Gina & Family - My condolences on the loss of your mother. I don't believe I ever met her, but know she was a beautiful person just by the legacy of love and kindness I saw in both of you growing up, and still see. I don't believe she will ever be forgotten -- she'll continue to be loved and cherished in the hearts of many. May you find peace in the knowledge that she is with God now.

Gina, Glenn and I want to extend our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dear mom. I wish we had the opportunity to meet her as you decribed her as such a wonderful ,caring, and remarkable woman. We know you and your family will have many wonderful memories to save and hold dear to your hearts. Although we cannot make it there today we will be thinking of you. Lots of love, Bonnie

I had the pleasure of working with Johnnie back in the 90s, when she was a United Way Volunteer and I was on staff. She was so dedicated and a delightful person. God rest her soul.

My thoughts and prayers for Mrs. Mayos family. I remember her visiting the schools. She was a very classy lady.

Mrs. Mayo was the best principal of Build Academy. She had and impact on her students! And on her staff where my mother and grandmother taught at. Stern but yet fair! There are so many adjectives that can describe this elegant, classy pretty lady! Rest In Peace Queen! Forever in my heart

One of the finest of my co-workers; a real professional lady; may she rest in the peace of the lord.

Soror Johnnie Mayo was one of the sweetest people I interacted with in Buffalo. She was welcoming and inclusive. Buffalo has lost a shinning star.

Remembering Johnnie when I first saw her as a young lady beginning her journey into the world. She was beautiful inside and out. Peace and joy to her children & family. Through the memories she left us. Peace, Priscilla Green Hill
