The Lord has gained a great singer for His Celestial Honky Tonk Choir! I've really grown to love his music and singing, which is the heart and soul of Texas Country dance music. And its no wonder he reminded me of my own Father, they were born on the same day two years apart! May he rest in Peace and Love..

I played with johnny for a while. He inspired me to love real country music. My dad played with his uncle jerry Jericho. He was great.

I grew up listening to Johnney's music. Little did I know that over 30 years later I would have the honor and priviledge to have him on my radio show 'A Step Back in Time' and him allowing me to interview him for three hours! It was a wonderful experience and I gained a true friendship because of it. I will never forget when he gave me a hug and thanked me for all of the artime.
