Not sure what to say?

A friend who will never be forgotten.

John was a true friend of mine. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing. My heart hurts for the family because i know what kind of father he was. Rest in Peace my friend.

John was a unique individual. I miss talking with him. May his soul continue to Rest In Peace.

John was my friend. I will never forget him.

John was great guy. He attended Philips Exeter Academy, Williams College and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He was an acquaintance that I shall never forget. Floyd J. Miller (March 2019).

We missed you at the Class of 1975 reunion, and are so sad that you are gone.
Virginia Drewry, Williams '75

I recently learned of JOhn's death through a mutual friend, Joel Brown. I met John in the mid-1970. I considered him a friend with a quick wit and intellect. Floyd Miller

Johnny was a great friend to me and many while we were students at Exeter. He was formidable as an athlete, frightening as a card player and hilarious as a buddy. He was a leader and an example to all of us. Everyone loved him unless he was making a point. Then they were inevitably overwhelmed and corrected. I loved him. I admired him as a student, as an athlete and as a humane child of God. I am grateful to have known him and deeply sorrowful for your loss and Cleveland's loss.

I attended Williams College with J.C., and played football with him. He was a great middle guard and a good friend. I lived in Cleveland, as well, and we enjoyed many rides together back and forth to campus. Regretfully, we didn't spend much time together after college, although we spoke periodically on the phone. I will miss him and his smile.
