Johnny William Cole

Dear Lavon and Family. We are so sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. Dale and I are unable to be with you but we are sending our thoughts and prayers to you all. May our heavenly Father surround you all with his comfort and strength and the love of your family and friends be there for you always.

Johnny was a good friend and spiritual prayer warrior. You always knew when Johnny got blessed, he would let a Whoo Hoo come from his lips. I shall always remember the month and year he asked Jesus in his heart for it was my birth month and year. The thing I remember is that he would tell you, "I'd rather have Jesus!" and he would in some way ask you if you were ready should the Lord return today. Johnny will be missed, but we know we will see him again if we are ready when the Lord...

Lots of great memories about Johnny...first and foremost, he loved The Lord with all his heart and wasn't afraid to tell people about his relationship with The Lord. He was quite the talker! When he stood up to testify, the pastor had to start thinking of ways to condense his sermon! My father was in a care facility in Jackson, Michigan several years ago, suffering from dementia.
