Mr. Davila, I wish as George's wife, and your nephew, that I would have known you better. I remember seeing you for the very first time at your sister's rosary. I asked George who you were and he told me, "That's my Uncle Johnny." George got very upset when he found out about your death. I just want to say that I wish I had known you better and your family. Our condolences go out to your family and friends. Rest in Peace, Mr. Davila and Godspeed!!!

Mrs. George A. Escobar (Janie)

This is George A. Escobar, Maria Elena Davila Escobar's son. Your family has our deepest condolences on your loss. I got to know you a little back in 1970, when you spent some time staying with us. I come to find out we, both, loved working on leather. I loved the stories mom would tell us about her and her brothers, good and bad, when they were growing up. I enjoyed hearing them. Also, I want to say thank you for serving our country. I know Uncle Johnny was a man of few words; very serious...
