Johnny still is one of my all time favorites in country music. Many of his songs are on my top playlists and will never change. Such a beautiful voice that lives on in my heart.

Johnny Duncan was one of the absolute finest singers in country music history. I first became familiar with Johnny's wonderful music as late as around 2005-2006 but it has stayed with me ever since. I have just finished writing quite a big article (8000 words) about his amazing career and I think it will be published in a future edition of the Swedish country music magazine Kountry Korral est 1968. I shared a class with Lezlie back in maybe 1982 or 1983. When I learned she was the daughter of the great Johnny Duncan, I thought I was in the presence of greatness. First because of Johnny, but then because of the beautiful daughter he had created. It was really something to have been a part of important history.
