This is the first time, just today 6/4 that I have read the condolences of dearly beloved friends and family. I shall cherish every word and every heart felt comment that you submitted. John and I were married for 31 years and he was indeed a godly man and a christian example to his family. My desired is to accept the baton that he has passed and to know Christ as he did. Thank you all and remember to please pray for us as we miss and cherish the life of the husband, father,grandfather,...

I have been blessed and encouraged by the life and ministry of Brother Hands. Thank you, sir for your good Word and testimony on your visits to CBC all the way from "God's Country (Savannah)" - especially for his final visit for our church anniversary before being called home not long after.

Dear Mrs. Hands and Family, Brother Johnny was a kind and gentle man, and we are all going to miss him very much. I think he was constantly thinking about what he could do for other people, especially those in the detention facility. I wish we were all like him-the world would be a better place. Maybe it would be heaven on earth. Steve Lewis

Dear Sister Hands,

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of our Dear Brother Hands. God has called home another one of his sheeps. God is perfect and makes no mistakes. God was ready for his son to come home. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of the times you all shared together. I shall continue to keep you and your family in my prayers. Sister Hands, Jay and Tabitha draw closer together and comfort one another.
