Johnny: "What I Miss is the Sunday's EDITIONS that were not PRINTED" Elm 'Wil' Stand

I always had an appreciation for the work of Johnny Hart and would especially look forward to the strip when approaching a holiday. You are missed but still making a difference.

Dear Johnny;you are SO missed. MY life has not been the same every AM when I pick up my paper.

For Johnny...

WEEP NOT FOR ME

Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.

Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.

I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour...

I am still being blessed by the postings here so much that I had to let you know how Johnny's book "I DID IT HIS WAY" compiled by his wife Bobby and daughter Perri literally fell into my hands going into my local Christian bookstore at the time of the former B.C. Open at Enjoie. Thank you for the many blessings I received and am continuing to receive. God continue to bless Johnny's family and friends.

An absolute original. I STILL love B.C. and The Wizard of Id to this day. His work was funny and witty at the same time. Always made you think and we can never have too much of that.

thats my last name

the world lost a genius.
still love reading my copies from the 70's.
whenever my cancer gets me down i flick through my books and i am a changed person.
thank you.

Your warm and friendly smile will never be forgotten. God blessed you with a wonderful family and your glowing smile showed your love for them and the people around you.
Peace be with you and your family. Marlena Scordan Weglin
