Not sure what to say?

RIP Johnny.

Im very sad to hear about the passing of Johnny. I played baseball with Johnny in the Columbus Mens Senior Baseball League, what a hitter and what alot of great stories he had. He was a good friend to all of us from the Cubs that had the honor of knowing him.

April, 1, 2013 - Easter. Great meal, with great company. Dad was in such a great mood! The kids showered him with hugs and kisses and stories.

It's been 1 month since I lost you. Not a day goes by where I dont think about you or want to call and talk. I love you Dad.

I remember Johnny from high school. He was handsome, charming and such an outstanding athlete. I'm thrilled to know he was a Christian and is in heaven with our Lord.

I knew Johnny from 1st grade class at Hawthorn,Jr High at SS Conner, and High School at WW Samuell. Had the pleasure of playing Little league Baseball on for Yankees, football and running track at Conner with him. He was always a good friend that made all his teammates play better. I will always miss him.

SEE YOU IN HEAVEN DEAR FRIEND, IVAN WRIGHT TYLER TX.

Will be missed by all of us from the 1966 Kilgore team. Was lucky to be able to watch him run. Rest in Peace.

I just wanted his family and friends to know there are people who remember him from back in those days....

I met Johnny at S.S. Conner Junior High when he was already the star in every sport and I was a skinny eighth grader. From day one, he treated me and everyone else around him with friendship, kindness, and respect no matter who we were. His smile would light up the room. We played varsity basketball together two years at W. W. Samuell High School and I was fortunate to play for four more years at S.M.U. Johnny was the best natural athlete I have ever known. He made athletics look so...
