Not sure what to say?

Johnny was the most welcomed and treasured guest in our home any time he visited. To say he was a memorable person is a complete understatement. Johnny was always kind, always thoughtful and positive and loving, and always, always a gentleman. He was a friend of our daughter, and became a friend of ours. We considered him part of our family, and truly miss him, but we celebrate his presence in our lives. This world is better because of his journey among us. RIP, Johnny.

I worked with Johnny via First Union/Wachovia for years. Me in Raleigh and Johnny on Charlotte. He always the nicest man. I’m sincerely sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for his family and friends. RIP, Johnny.

Johnny was definitely one of a kind! All through High School he enjoyed life and having fun. There are so many things we could all learn from his joy. He will be missed. A good friend to many. So sad and shocked to hear of his passing. Thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.

Johnny was a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable, beautiful spirit on this earth. I know Andy was waiting for him with wagging tail and a sloppy kiss. Give Clay a big hug for me. He loved you too.

My memories of Johnny, as one of my students at Northwestern High in Rock Hill, are similar to what is written here about him. He was a joyous part of the class, a real force...self-confident, witty, caring, always ready to participate. I am not surprised at his success and leadership on the job, at church and in causes he believed in. I just regret not knowing and spending time with him these past years. His passing makes me sad.

I worked for Johnny in the mortgage department in one of those Siuthern banks on HHI. He taught me so much, but mostly how to enjoy life. Our group made the best the Christmas cards for our clients. Earth will miss Johnny, but Heaven is just learning how to have fun.

I met Johnny in 2008. He was a great guy! He could always make me laugh! He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.
