Baptism

You shall know them by their fruit.

I'm someone who benefited from Pastor Johnny Johnston's sermons when he delivered them in San Jose, CA at Calvary Chapel. His faith was as solid as his notable in depth understanding of scripture and his God given talent to preach it from the pulpit. Indeed, we'll see him again in heaven when we get there. My sympathy goes out to his entire family.

He was a true man of God and a blessing to all who came in contact with him. His joy and love came from the Lord , in whose presence he now dwells. His smile would light up a room and it was always evident he followed hard after Jesus Christ. My condolences to his family.

I am who I am because of Johnny, his preaching and spiritual guidance has made a lasting impact on my life. Jonny turned me on to Smith Wigglesworth and other mighty men of God. I received the gift of tongues while staying at their home and to this day the fire still burns bright. Thank you Johnny for answering the call you will never be forgotten.

I'm so sorry Johnston family to hear of Pastor Johnny's passing. He was my favorite at CCSJ. He would come into my office every morning with a big smile and his joke of the day. His counsel was wise and so simple!! Read the Bible and do it!! He will be missed.

Although a loss for this world, a great gain for Heaven. He was a very kind and caring man who always made you feel welcome. We feel privileged to have known him.
