I’ve known Johnny for over 30 years, we were neighbors in Malibu many years ago. I was honored when he offered to write a beautiful quote about my music on the back cover of my first album. Romanza: Themes of love. I was shocked to learn that he had passed away, but he lived a long incredible life. He was a mentor and friend and also called me to work with him on many occasions. He was one of the most beautiful arrangers of all time...and I will always remember our great conversations about...
