Johnny Nieves, 23, of Geneva, Illinois, a Cook at Beckman’s Restaurant for three years, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Tuesday, March 14, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2000, 4-9 p.m. and Sunday, March 19, noon to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Whitehurst Muller Funeral Services 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, California. Mass will be offered on Monday, March 20, 10 a.m., at Madonna del Sasso Church, 320 East Laurel Drive, Salinas. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
