Johnny, Austin and Wendy at Austin's First Holy Communion

My Dear brother,

I miss you more than ever. I miss your hugs, your smile, and your teasing and playful ways. I hung my wind chime out back on the tree. Whenever it chimes, we like to think it is your spirit in the wind saying hello. I pray that you are at peace. You deserve it. Can't wait to see you again...in heaven. I love you!

Johnny was one of the greatest men I have ever known. He will be truly missed by Dorothy, Tom, Wendy and her family and of course his sons. I will always remember him with a smile on my face as he was so happy-go-lucky and always positive. He saw the best in everyone.

My family wants to thank you for your service. Your actions displayed the motto taught at USMC boot camp: "Semper Fi." May you rest in peace knowing that performed your job well.

Your family will be in our prayers daily. We Marine families will make sure they know we are grateful and offer our support.

As long as he lives in your hearts and minds he shall not die. Celebrate what he has accomplished in his life, the people he has touched, how the world has changed...

Johnny was hopeful, motivated and dedicated person who was focused on his family, and a happy future. I am so sorry to hear that his time here has ended. He will be missed.
