Johnny Taylor

The family of Johnny Taylor Sr. is saddened to announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the age of 71 years.

Johnny was born June 19th to Howard and Rosie Taylor in Memphis, TN. He worked at Kaiser Steel and then Delta Metals in Memphis, TN as a crane operator until his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents Howard and Rosie Taylor. Johnny is survived by his three children Tyra Taylor, Johnny Taylor Jr. and Ryann McKinney. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; two sisters; six brothers as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, a socially distanced viewing will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Millington Funeral Home 7738 Church Street Millington, TN 38053.

He will be laid to rest at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery at 6755 Hwy 51 N. Millington, TN 38053 on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 10:00 a. m. withclose friends and family.
