Not sure what to say?

I met Johnny in 1978 when I moved to Odessa to work for Sivalls Inc. Johnny and I became good friends shortly afterwards running around together, going to OHS football games and keeping Furr's Cafeterias in business. When he first started building houses I would draw the plans as I had a large drafting table in my apartment. I met a number of his family members over the years. As time went on we did not have much contact with one another as often happens. He was a good friend and a find...

I will be thinking of you daily and I know you hear me when I'm talking to you. I see your face when I close my eyes I see you and tim shaking hands and laughing. I love you DAD. You are missed alot it's not the same with the two men in my life missing. You are kind you are patient you are a father you are my rock, god I miss you I love you DAD.

We only met Johnny briefly after he and Tesa moved to Brock, however he shared a very magnetic personality and friendly demeanor. We are very sorry to hear of his passing and we offer our sincere condolences to Tesa and all family members. Bold Gasca and family.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11 ¶ Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. (1 Th. 5:9-11 KJV) Our deepest sympathies for the passing of your dear and special Johnny. May you be comforted by God´s loving Spirit and strengthened in His Word. Randy and Tracy Davis

Good running form came natural for Johnny. Most of the rest of us on the OHS track team would watch Johnny run relaxed and with great form, then go to work trying to emulate what we saw. A good athlete and a gentle spirit. God blessed me to have such a good example. Eddie Rhodes. - Class of `71.
