Jolene Calhoun

Jolene Lizbeth Calhoun, 57, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on August 3, 2010.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 9, at Brooks Funeral Care, 7975 University Boulevard, at 11a.m. Jolene was born on August 19, 1952, in Boone, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Betty Calhoun. She was a lifelong resident of Des Moines and a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. She was a former dancer with the Des Moines Ballet and a lifelong arts enthusiast. Jolene completed nursing school at Mercy College and spent the majority of her career as a nurse specializing in elderly care.
She is survived by: a daughter, Casady Siberz (Chris), of West Des Moines, Iowa; a granddaughter, Ella Siberz; and her mother, Betty Calhoun, of Des Moines, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Calhoun, and brother, Doug Calhoun. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
