Jon S. Berk

My deepest condolences to Jon´s family on his passing. Memories of Jon are deeply rooted. Notably the Dustin Hoffman civil case and the changes we had to make in his defense. Dustin insisted that his attorney not be taller than him in the courtroom and Jon not only fit the bill but won the case as well! There his UIM expertise of course, but I always associated Jon with his likeness to Richard Dreyfuss which I reminded him of on every encounter. Rest in peace Jon.

My condolences to Jon's family. What I remember most about Jon is how knowledgeable he was about comics and his willingness to share his information. I enjoyed communicating with him about comics. He will be missed. Michael Sanchez

I worked with J.B. for many years. He was a fine lawyer, and became the state's pre-eminent expert on UIM law. His book is still the bible on that subject. He was also an all-time maven on Marvel comics, (& even DC!) who was always ready with an arcane anecdote regarding an obscure issue or character. He had a sharp wit and was always ready to share his knowledge and wisdom regarding difficult cases. He will be missed.
