Jon Bishop

Jonathan Michael Bishop, 34, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016. Born to Michael and Mary Bishop in Beverly, Massachusetts, Jonathan was an employee of Nucor Yamato Steel. He had a passion for motorcycles and working on cars. Jonathan had a green thumb and loved gardening, especially growing hot peppers. He loved to listen to music. He was a very intelligent person and loved to be different. Jonathan was devoted to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Stevens and Patricia Bishop; brother, Michael Steven Bishop II; and sister, Mary Alice Bishop. Jonathan leaves his fiancé, Brandy Cecil of Blytheville; his parents; grandparents, Alice Stevens and Bob Bishop; children, Mackenzie Mae Kennedy and Ryan Keith Bishop; step children, Brent Matthew Harris, Arianna Makinzey Marie Harris, and Leighton River Entriken; brother, Mathew Bishop of Blytheville; sister, Emily Chadwick and husband David of Bono; four nieces; one nephew; and many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
