Jon Blank was the epitome of professionalism, knowledge and a true gentleman, in every sense of the word. He had an enormus heart and truly showed concern and care for people. I will forever be grateful to him for the training, patience
and understanding he showed me. Im sure you are in heaven , Jon. Rest high and in peace there my friend.

Jon you will be missed very much.

Jon and I served together in the Navy at Bridgeport, CA 1992-1993. Just learned of his illness and passing. Jon was a good friend and great role model for me as a brand new chief at the time. I will miss him. Fair Winds and Following Seas Jon. Bob Davis, HMC USN Ret.

Jon knew when to talk and when to listen. I knew he was going to be a friend, as well as a boss when shortly after I started working at Beverly Manor in Portsmouth, my dad passed and I found out at work and he offered to take me home to meet my family because I was a mess. He was talking in that calm, soothing voice of his until I could get myself together.
