Not sure what to say?

So sorry to see this news. Was just ruminating on my time at JPM and my memory took me back to the Morgan Finance Program - me and JP sat together and bonded like a couple of school kids - he was an amazing individual and lovely lovely person. We hooked up again in London some time after his surgery and it was like we had never been apart. Whilst we were in different parts of the bank we often used to catch up on internal chat and bloomberg. I left the City in 2016 for health reasons and...

Dear Borellas, Your dad is in my thoughts today. When I was in middle school (about 2008/9) my dad (Reggie Imamura) let me know that his friend was taking us to a Rangers game to watch from box seats. It was a truly wonderful day and I still remember it because he told my sister Natalie and me to call him JP and his kindness and generosity was just radiant. My dad Reggie passed away in 2016 from pancreatic cancer and so I am not sure we were able to send our condolences at that time (the...

I can still remember staying up late with him at the Student Federal Credit Union in 1991 when our computer system had crashed. JP was a leader in re-entering every transaction by hand once our new system was up and running. Each night we had to close out several days worth of books to catch up. He was an awesome team member, dedicated volunteer and great to work with. I was very sad to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family on their loss.

My thoughts and prayers are for JP's family, who were privileged to know and live with such a bright, dutiful and generous man. JP taught me lot in my early years in the money management business, and never lost track of me over nearly two decades of my travels. Despite his challenges, in our talks he was always encouraging and never voiced a complaint. JP's demonstration of confident strength and kindness will be remembered by all whom he encountered.

My sincerest condolences to JP's family. He was a great friend who was always there with a smile. JP was my TA at Georgetown and then my colleague after convincing me to join his group at JP Morgan. We played golf together and went to Rangers games. He was a true mentor and a friend. He will be missed.

The best possible, friend, husband, father and son. If we all could emulate him, the world would be a much, much better place.
My condolences to the family.

JP was optimistic and joyful I admired him very much. He never did beat me at golf but he gave it his best every time. It has been over 10 years since I last saw JP I always enjoyed his company and his sprit. I cannot go into a palm steakhouse without thinking of him. He was delightful. My condolences to Penny and Casey.

My condolences to the Borella family and friends. We have to take comfort in the scriptures and do as Paul said "Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart". Colossians 3:15

I met Jon Paul several times over the years at his his father Edward's business. i didn't believe anyone could be as wonderful and accomplished and handsome and kind as his father said. But he was all that, and more! The facts and his radiant visage bear it out. What a remarkable young Man and what a grievous loss to all. With sincerest sympathies and condolences to his treasured family.
