Not sure what to say?

Jon was an incredibly strong person, who never complained about his illness or his suffering. Liked to talk about his Internet chess games. He always got particularly excited when he was winning. I'll miss him.

...So grateful to have known Jon (sadly from a distance) for many years,... and SO grateful to have had a good amount of time w/ him over the past ~8 months... it was a joy to be around him, and so humbling to see him take death in stride, like it was just another part of life.... Thanks again, Jon, for sharing your warm heart, philosophy, courage, wit, and humor (and bowling, chess, guitar and exercise :-) ). I'll miss you like a brother. Gail is missing you too.
Love and condolences...

Martha, Cindy, and Kathleen. I was just thinking of Jon and Your Mother last week. You can't believe the shock I felt on learning of his passing. He was a very nice and gentle soul. He always had a positive thing to say and a helping hand to lend. I feel as though I have lost a good friend and a member of my family. I am very saddened at the lose of contact we have allowed to happen. Know that I often think of you and your family as they were a very dear and major part of my growing up and I...

What sad news. Jon was the best man at our wedding. He was a dear friend to both Mick and I and he will be missed. He was a master at the guitar. I know he is up in Heaven playing a gold guitar right now. God Bless him! Your family is in our prayers. If you want to talk please call us.....we are in the book.

I am speechless, I was very sad when I saw Jon passed away. I have alot of wonderful memories of all of you. We all grew up together. When my mom passed away, after the service I turned to leave the church..There was Jonny sitting in the back crying..It touched my heart..I share your grief.

Uncle Jonny was a inspiration and major influence on me to become the best person I could be. He always made me laugh and had inteligent thought provoking conversations to spark. He taught me chess and guitar as well as gave me philosopy and helped me form my life as it is today. He truly loved his family and was one of my best friends as well as my uncle. Always there to give anyone all he had. He touched the lives of many in great ways and is one of the reasons our family is strong.

Jon was a wonderful person and brother and I will miss him very much.He was the most honest and kind hearted person that would give you the shirt off his back.I will always cherish my fond memories of him and our family and life we shared.Thank you Jonny for always being there for me and accepting and loving me no matter what,You will forever be in my heart and mind.Love you always....Cindy

It was long ago, but Jonny and I were best of Buddies one summer. I think it was about 1966. We hung out,got in trouble together, played guitar and had a lot of fun. I have often thought about him, and his sisters wondering where they all were. Nothing but fond memories, My condolences.
