Jon F. DeWitt

I know I am late with this but I owe some gratitude to his parrents, Anna and Roy Dewitt, both deceased. My father was Nicholas Sabara and Roy sponsored him, along with his wife, Gerda, and children, Richard (Wolfgang), Karola, and Gabriele to come to America in August of 1951 from Germany. I am now 74 years old and living in Ludington, MI. I have fond memories of going to the cottage at Higgins Lake as a child. Some things are never forgotten! Love, Karola

As a fellow ND graduate, environmental lawyer and Ottawa County´s Corporation Counsel, I have always considered Jon´s professionalism and call to public service an inspiration. Condolences to his family on their great loss.

Had the pleasure of working with Jon when he was counsel for Kent Community Hospital. Always enjoyed his pleasant demeanor and considered him a great asset to our community.
