Jon Thomas Dingwall Jr.

Jon Thomas Dingwall Jr., the son of Jon and Kami (Jesnowski) Dingwall, was born on May 2, 2008 in Alexandria MN. Jon was the younger brother of Kylee and Taylor and the older brother of Evan. Jon went to Brandon/Evansville Elementary and was very excited to make the big move to Evansville for the 4th grade. Jon was always willing to help other students. He loved math and everything about school, except having to sit still. Jon was full of energy. He had a passion for wrestling and baseball. He couldn’t wait to try out his new football pads this fall. He built forts in the hay barn with his cousins and played catch with anyone who threw a ball at him. Jon was rarely found outside with shoes on. He was always getting dirty and attempting American Ninja Warrior obstacles. He loved to watch WWE, especially John Cena. No matter what Jon was doing, he did it 110% and he had fun doing it. Jon was competitive; if you did ten pull ups, he would do eleven. He had a confidence about himself that is indescribable, yet he had the most gentle heart. He loved everyone and everything he encountered, except vegetables. “Little Jon” loved being with his mom, dad, sisters and his little brother. He loved to play games, wrestle, and spend time with each of them. He was an excellent monopoly player, and according to his younger brother Evan, he was 36-2 in checkers games. Being the President of Cuddle Bug Club, Jon was able to give his big hugs to his Aunt Dana and others who belonged to their club. At bedtime, he would always tell his mom, “Hug me a little longer.” Jon Thomas Dingwall Jr. died on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the age of 9 years old. He is survived by his loving parents, Jon and Kami Dingwall of Brandon and his siblings, Kylee, Taylor, and Evan. He is also survived by loving extended family; Great Grandparents, Viola Klimek and Jon and Bonnie Haaven; Grandparents, John and Ruth Jesnowski and Kim and Thomas Dingwall; Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, Jeff (Tara Amundson) Jesnowski -McKenzie, Olivia; Dean (Jamie) Jesnowski - Mia, Averi; Rhonda (Bill) Tuey - Stephanie, Trenton; Johnny Jesnowski - John Jr., Lydia; Dana Jesnowski; Sarah Hendrickson; Amy (Derek) Revering - David, Alyssa, Adyson; Julie (Curt) Boesl - Logan, Claire, Alex, Lance, Lily; Rick (Linda) Jesnowski - Kodee, Kya; Kris (Tessa) Jesnowski- LaRae, Kreed; Adam (Katherine) Jesnowski - Adeline; Courtney Jesnowski (Tanner Hinz); Lisa (Jason Bitzan) - Riley; and many friends. Jon's Memorial Folder A visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Brandon on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 1:00pm in the Brandon High School gymnasium with the Reverend Dennis Preston and Father Peter Vander Weyst officiating. Special music was performed by Jennifer Maloney, Sarah Severson and Brian Chlian. In Lieu of Flowers memorials are preferred to the Dingwall family for a memorial garden.
